Derek Smith is the chair of KeyRing and previously an Executive Director of the RNID. He is a lead consultant on statutory funding; delivering courses now adopted by Futurebuilders England. He has worked within the charitable sector, Further Education, Housing and Local Government. He has overseen major service improvement and strategic growth.

Ray Jenkins is the former National Development Director of Crime Reduction Initiatives (CRI). He led the organisation through a period of substantial growth increasing turnover from 350k to £33 million in 9 years. A former member of the UK Anti Drugs Co-ordination Unit (UKADCU) he advised on the Government’s 10 year Drug Strategy.
